loewe 40' prices

am i allowed to print prices & places on here or will i get into trouble?
it seems a few people want this product and orders are piling up at the various dealerships and most, either will not / cannot pay the silly asking price

I'm after one of these, price depending. Others suggest places and prices so why not? Surely the point is we all help each other get the best for the least, as well as offer advice post buy.

Here in the U.S. this model is called 38 inches, the visable part of the tube. The metric police won't get me for using inches will they? Anyway, I think it's worth knowing that Loewe buys all their tubes from Thompson ( RCA ). The Loewe Annaconda sells for $5000 + here. The RCA 38" widescreen TV which even has a built-in HDTV over-the-air tuner in it sells for $2400. Same tube! How many Euro's is $5000? Best wishes!

This 40" Loewe looks quite good - anybody know if has the same problems as the other large flat CRT tvs?
It is quite a bit more in price though, but if it has no problems then i suppose it is worth it.

Any info (urls for reviews etc) would be great

Has anyone in the UK seen or bought one of these yet?

If you have please share your opinions with us.

I've placed an order for one based on Loewe's reputation to replace my Sony KV36FS70.

I've been told it will be delivered in the second batch and that should be by the end of this month.

Tony, may I be so bold as to ask how much and from where you are purchasing?

Indeed it isn't flat. Also only the 40" one uses the Thomson tube. The 32" ones use philips tubes. If you were to compare the Philips and Loewe's with the same tube I doubt you would think they had the same picture quality.......there is much more to a TV's performance than that.....
