Tosh 32ZP48 can do 1080i !?

Mornin all,
I have an xbox360 and a Toshiba 32ZP48.I am using the high def component cable and run in 480p usually.I thought i would try out the other high def modes just to see what happened.

720p - Blank screen.

1080i - works!!!??

It runs in 1080i but alot of the screen seems to be missing and it all looks darker than normal? So the tosh must be able to do 1080i then? Otherwise it would of been a blank screen?

Obviously i was using the widescreen mode,i wonder if changing from widescreen would fix the picture size?

Anyone know about this?
