Sony DX200 backend settings

Hi folks,

Can people with the DX200 (and DX150 and NX200 which it seems are also AE6D chassis) post their values for RGB drive and cutoff from the backend section of the service menu? Particularly if you've ever adjusted them.

I realise it will be different for each set, but mine seems to have an odd pinkish hue to reds (compared to my previous Trinitron - I don't know which one is right though).

Faces are a bit ruddy ('red push'?).

Mine are:
RGB drive 30,21,21
RGB cut 31,25,26

Taking down the red cut to 26 and lifting green drive up to 24 seems better balanced but still not quite right. I have the DVE disk.

Thanks!

You put the set into standby, then press:

info, 5, vol+, []

where [] is the button to get rid of teletext etc. (looks like an empty screen) and info is usually i+ or something.

On my set you get TT-- in the corner. You press menu for normal menu and menu again for the service menu.

The colour control are in the 'backend' section and the geometry is in the 'deflection' section.

Note that the colour decoder section is not for RGB signals (including internal digital tuner if it has one).

When finished, press 00 (so it says TT00 and goes red) to save.

Make a note of the original settings first!
