Sony IDTV

I have a Sony KD32DX51u IDTV, I've just bought a DVD Recorder, is there anyway to record the freeview digital channels, the tv only seems to output the normal terrestial channels to the DVD recorder.

Edit: okay found out I need to set AV2 to digital TV, at the moment I have the sky box going into the in-scart on the dvd recorder is there anyway to have it set up so I can have sky & freeview available for recording?
