Sony KD32DC11 or Sony KV32HX15 ???

Hi all, current 32" Philips has gone pop.

Was tempted to jump on the plasma bandwagon but common sense has prevailed, I'll hang fire for a while yet.

Have finally decided to get a Sony, but which one, they seem almost identical?

Sony KD32DC11 or Sony KV32HX15??? Both can be bought for approx £500

The tv will be only used for watching SKY with lots of football.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Which is the newer model?

many thanks

32DC11 is newer, but it's just a digital version of 32HX15 so you shouldn't notice any differences, unless you're going to use it with terrestrial TV.

You can't really go wrong with a 50Hz Sony.

Just bought a DC11. Superb TV. I too was considering an LCD or Plasma but decided to save some money and go with CRT. Even the Xbox 360 looks ok on it!!

The sound is good and the digital works really well. Nice fast menus. Picture quality is superb. I'm very happy with it.

can someone confirm that the KD32DC11 is flat screen? it certainly looks it in the pictures but the weirdos at comet have it labelled "non-flat"

thanks

Got mine delivered Mon this week (from Comet) and the screen is flat. Fab TV, it was a replacement for a duff Tosh 32YT56, best £50 extra I've ever spent
