Question Sony KV32FQ75 Problem

Hi all
Just got my new Tv...went for the above Sony.
One problem I have noticed, difficult to describe..its like a fog or mist drifting across the screen in a band...it is very faint but I notice it when the picture is black. I have sky so I thought it might be that so tried it with the aerial...same thing is happening.
Anyone notice that before on there Tv ??
Cheers

Exclamation

Get on your phone to your supplier immediately and ask for a new unit. My TV has been at the menders for a month now with this problem. I'll bring my post back to the top for you to read.

Hi Mark
Your Tv was okay with the scarts?
All that I have connected is my Sky into Scart1(RGB) scart from sky box to video and then video into scart 3. The guy from John Lewis said put the Dvd into Scart 2. Along with the Tv aerial for ITV thats all I have connected and getting the banding when it seems the Tv has been on for a while.
Its bloody annoying now that I have noticed it...I'll go and speak with John Lewis...they will probably think I'm mad and seeing things but at 1500 quid I expect perfection....

You are not mad and lots of people have had this problem. Tell them that you are unhappy with it and demand a replacement. Sony must know about this problem and I find it difficult to believe that these faulty units are still being sold.

mmm..whats worrying me is will the replacement be just the same......how common is this problem. I think I have the Sony customer service number somewhere..I'll give them a phone to see if they know anything about this problem before I get on to John Lewis.
Have you got your Tv back Mark ? if so is it repaired ?
Cheers
