??? i was thinking if buying the panasonic pv500 seeing as it got alot of awards but it also got alot of complaints on av forums aswell, so is there any plasma out there thats better than the panasonic pv500 and dosent suffer from what the pv500 suffered from. im uk based so uk models im only interested in.

I think that when you get to the top of range/ pushing the boundary of the technology there will rarely be a definative 'best' but simply ones which people prefer.

Best thing is to get yourself down to a decent AV store and ask to view the models they stock at your price point and judge for yourself.

hi yes but still even going down to a store is not much help if i dont know what the specs are on paper.
