Sony KV-24LS35

I have an eighteen month old Sony KV-24LS35 widescreen TV. Recently it is taking a little while for the picture to come through when I turn the TV on, & a green horizontal wavy line comes on for a few seconds prior to this. However, when the picture comes through it is fine. Can anyone tell me whether they have experienced this, or whether it is a sign of a problem? - If so, is it something I would be able to have repaired?
