The sad death of of my old TV

Today I carried out one of the saddest tasks I have ever carried out.

I took my old life expired Sony KVX2521 to the tip, I left it there sitting next to a broken vacuum cleaner looking very sad.

So what if the tuner was dodgy and the tube has stuffed geometry and focus was appalling. I paid £500 for it 15 years ago! Moved it to the bed room 6 years ago, but it started to go dodgy about 3 years ago.

I am depressed!

I can sympathise! My Panny TX-33A1 is on its last gasp tube-wise, and before long I will have the same problem. Mine will need a 2 man lift though, so the agony will be shared!
Any recommendations for a replacement? See my dedicated thread.
BTW, I paid £1999.99 in 1990 for mine.

Hi you two - go and cheer yourselves up and buy a Toshiba 32ZP48. That will soon have you smiling again. Regards, yt.
