aconda - yuv settings help

hi

i have just bought an arcam dv88 dvd player and wanted to connect the aconda via a component to scart cable (the tv has a rgb/yuv input in av3) - and i just wondered if i will need to change any settings on the tv to be able to view in yuv mode - if so where can i find them as i haven't got much of a clue.

also i read somewhere about changing the bits in the service menu but i have no idea what thats all about - so if anyone knows what the optimal way of setting this up is i would be very grateful.

thanks

I'm not in front of the telly at the mo, but I think you go to Menu > Connections and just follow the Wizard until you get to the AV3 settings.

You might also wanna set it to "sync on Y" and plug the composite connection into your DVD coz that handles the 16:9 auto-detection.
