Red face

Or alternatively you could buy a years' supply of tickets to see Mr Jangles in Mouseville, this would be the trip of a lifetime.

I seem to remember someone said they could get Nontey Nonye Luft Balloons for about the same price?
Not sure if these would be similar

£199.99 is an okay price for a 28W TV, here in Britain the local authorities are gearing-up for a massive influx of old televisions, I reckon this is because;
1. The analogue TV system will be switched off in a few years and many people will want a TV with "no-fuss" operation and will happily pay for a new digital set-
will the mass production of TVs with digital tuners be with CRT or flat panel screens?
2. The falling prices of flat panel TVs

So with this in mind you would expect companies to try and shift as many CRTs as possible.
Watch this space - the streets are going to be littered with TVs soon

It will be interesting to see if the larger CRTs +36" still appear on the market?
More likely in the market though!!!!

Also some people reckon the TV is a government propaganda machine and if you belive the hype - Hollywood is the wood from the Holly plant that gets waved "magically" to create illusions or something.
If this is true then there should be government subsidies for families to buy the biggest TVs possible

...Until you get it home, switch it on and realise what a heap of junk you just bought. Then your day gets even worse when you look at Pricerunner and realise that your £199 would have gone along way towards buying an IDTV from a quality brand...
