Sony KD-32dx200 - Green vertical bars from Standby

Has anybody encountered a strange set of green vertical bars on a Sony KD-32DX200 when it is powered up from standby ?

They scan out after a short delay and the programme comes on.

Changing channels or AV inputs makes no difference

The effect seems to be random on start up from standby - it never happens with a hard start from the mains switch

Any ideas ?
