Wnat a 37" LCD or Plasma screen any advice please

Hi, I want to upgrade my TV from a 32" CRT Sony 100mhz Wega to something bigger.

I have a Denon Amp with Canton surround speakers, a Sky box and two Sony DVD players/recorder so I really only need the screen and a stand having a built in tuner and speakers does not matter.

Could anyone advise the best one to go for please I have a budget of up to £1500.

I would really appreciate any advice, I am not that technical but I watch a lot of TV (just ask the wife!)

and I like a good picture and sound
