I just came back into the room and noticed my TV (Toshiba 40PW13) had no picture, just a blank screen with a flashing white light every couple of seconds. It's as if the power to the set is continually tripping out, as it appears like the set is switching off. There's no response from the remote control to any key-presses - channel, power, volume etc.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this, or have any idea how serious the problem might be?
