The PD50 has a fine pitch DAF c.r.t., the DTX11 is non-DAF standard pitch.
The PD50 has 75Hz and progressive modes as well as 100Hz: the DTX11 is 100Hz only.
The PD50 has 5 AV inputs, the DTX11 has less (3 or 4? can't quite remember).
The PD50 had a subwoofer, the DTX11 does not.

I think the PD50 looks unbeatable when sitting on its video cabinet. It is also a little narrower than the DTX11 although a good deal heavier. PD50 has more bells and whistles that may (or may not) improve the picture but it does not have a DVB tuner like the DTX11.

If possible get a demo. My personal recommendation would be to get the PD50 and see if you can persuade the dealer to throw in a Freeview box.

HTH

it sucks balls. Im not the type of person who gos into shops. I live off peoples reviews and then order away. But this is something that has to be done.
But every where I go even panasonic shops they say the PD50 is discontinued.
I will deff be buying the panny pd50 online as its cheeper.... well thats when I find it.

One final note:
PD50 made in UK (last sets produced): DTX11 made in Czech

Hi there,

No it was a 36" on eBay but was someone trying to sell a 32" in the 'far sale' section?
