Advice on a TX36PB50 CRT TV please

I have the chance of buying a graded (mint) Panasonic TX36PB50 for about £650 inc delivery. It comes with a full years guarantee etc. Do you think this is a good deal?

Why is it graded?

A scratch on the cabinet is one thing; a scratch on the tube, quite another!

Its in perfect condition , not a mark - its either a surplus/clearance stock item or could even be an open box item. At worst a ex display maybe. But they do guarantee it doesnt have a mark on it and give a years cover.

Hi there,

IMO yes, we own 2 and they are good, if it comes with a years warranty then you should be able to take out the Panasonic optional 4 year warranty for £199 which should give you peace of mind.

We’ve been playing with a Panasonic 42” Plasma and for us the PQ on the TX-36PD50 is better, but that is only our opinion.

Good luck, Tim.
