Loewe Aconda will do it with the VGA card, otherwise it is a plasma, LCD or an actual computer monitor. I'm unsure about Grundig. Metz tv might also do it as well but they aren't very good at answering technical questions.

Question Which TV as PC monitor?

I'm looking for a TV that I can also use as a decent monitor for text. My options seem limited to plasma or the non-existent HDTV. Can anyone advise me further? How about the Loewe and Grundigs, are they any good for at least 800x600?

I tried hooking my PC up to my Sony FD1 a year or so ago & it didn't really work as VGA resolution wasn't good enough. Especially with text, it was giving me a headaches!

The Loewe Aconda works great as a PC monitor. I run mine at 848x480@60Hz, text is very sharp. I run all my video through the VGA port using a HTPC.

Cheers for the input. I'm now looking at the Loewe Vitros.

Jeff, is the 60hz refresh a graphics card limitation or is it a constraint of the TV?
