rear projection question

Hi Guys

The lamp on my sanyo lcd projector has just gone and its about £400 for a new lamp.

So i am looking at getting a rear projection tv but do they have the same lamp life issues as lcd projectors (mine lasted 1900hrs), I ask this as it will be on for about 19 hours a day everyday and if they dohave the same life time then i will need to look for something else.
