Buzzing Sharp 32JF-74H

Any ideas about a buzzing coming from the case of my TV it is a lot worse when changing channels or any other settings - I can stop the buzzing by pressing on the top of the casing. Does anyone have a proper solution. I have emailed Sharp but they didn't even bother replying.

Sounds as though the degauss coil around the crt is loose and vibrating....a relatively simple job for an engineer........is it under guarantee?

Not under guarantee - I should have taken it back when I first noticed it as the buzzing has been there virtually from new. I will take the back off and have a look.

Took the back off and yes the degauss coil had come unstuck - put more tape on and in a few other places and to start with no noise but it has come back a couple of times since I will have to see how annoying it is and then perhaps take the back off again - thanks for all your help so far
