DVD RAM disc reader for PC?

I understand that there are some PC DVD writers that can use DVD RAM disks for data storage, but I am told that there are no products on the market that will read the video data from my DVD RAM disks recorded on my Panasonic DVD recorder.

It would be handy to be able to edit/duplicate some of the disks that I have recorded. Anyone know if such a device is available - or do I have to buy another DVD recorder!?

You've been misinformed. I've got an LG 4120 (which has since been superceeded many times) on the PC and it works just fine. I think it was about £40.

Check out the DVD recorders, recording and media for more info.

Cheers.
