Widescreen tv decision help!

Ok, I've seen a shop which has ex-rental/reconditioned widescreen tvs for cheap

My budget is £200 - £250

I've seen the following models:

Sanyo widescreen 32wn4b £200

Philips widescreen 32pw6615 £250

Sony pure flat widescreen 32kv-fx20u £300

I quite like the philips, as my old tv was philips and served me well, but the sony is very tempting too, despite being a little out of my budget....

Any advice?

How long a guarantee are they giving?.....it's just that those particular models (Sanyo and Philips) are prone to various faults inc duff crt's.
The Sony is the better of the 3.

In agreement with JayCee, stretch a little and get the Sony. Have had a couple of Philips, one was v problematic, other had a tinny, bright picture, not very natural tones.

Sanyo quality is not too great either, although they seem to be making more of an effort lately the older stuff is not as well made as the Sony's generally are.

I'm guessing they'll be offering 3-6 months warranty?

I think I might stretch my budget and go for the Sony then - it looks in mint condition as well

Asda is selling the 32" Widescreen Sanyo CE32WN6-B for £250 - you'll get a 1 year no quibble guarantee on that too. So you don't need to go second hand/refurbished/ex-rental - you can have a new one - I can't find a review anywhere as it's a discontinued model. They are also doing the Toshiba 32Z33B 32" Widescreen for £379.99.
