JVC 28" 100hz, screen curve on PS2

Have brand new JVC 28X4S 100", perfect picture and sound on TV, Sky. When gaming on PS2 thought the top right and top left of the TV screen curve in slighty and do not fill the whole screen

Any ideas why, tried to change setting of my TV but no joy

Just a possibility but this could be down to your cable? What lead are you using from your PS2 to your TV?
If you do not already own a RGB Scart cable, invest in one. You will get a better picture from this.

This could be a normal distortion of geometry on the set, with the edges made visible because the picture from the PS2 does not fill the entire picture area of the video signal.

Lowering the contrast a bit can help reduce this problem.
