Post S-video problem with Panasonic TX-W36D3DP tv

S Video (from my DVD player) only appears to work through the s-video socket on the front of the TV (messy) & not from the s-video enabled scart socket - av2. If I use this socket, the an s-video-scart adaptor I get a black & white picture.

Could this be a configuration problem with the rear scart, or just a fault?

All suggestions welcomed. Thanks - Paul

Hi,

To get a colour picture you have to set AV2 to AV2s, on my Panny PK1 this is achieved by pressing the AV2 button twice but on my old Sony I had to go into the setup menu and specify that the input was S-Video through that socket. Not sure which method you will have to use but one should work for you.

Cheers

Aidan

Cheers Aidan - that sounds like a top option to me; at the moment I'm using a Pronto & didn't even realise there was a av2-s setting.

Thanks - Paul
