I agree with Firstagent about the Tosh ZP18 - I reckon most people are over the moon with them as am I with my 36 incher - still no doubts that I made the right decision.
I had the 32" 6515 and had numerous problems with a couple of different sets which you may have read about here - I wouldn't be recomending Philips in a hurry at the moment!
Sony (from experience) are over priced for what they are - no better than Tosh but you end up paying more (generally).
Panasonics - sorry, no experience of them.
One thing's for sure, I don't envy you trying to decide, one minute you're edging towards a particular model, then you reasd something that slags it off and oh no, you change your mind and on it goes - glad I won't be there again for a while.
My main piece of advice to anybody buying a widescreen TV is to make sure you buy it from somebody who's going to give you the aftersales back up - no mater which set you choose, there's a fair to middling chance that you'll need to use it! Take as much recomendation about the retailer as the set its self.
