Excuse my little knowledge in this area but I'm not too informed when it comes to home cinema equipment, so I'm asking you people who know these stuff to help me out.

I'm currently trying to decide between these two RPTV's as mentioned in the topic. I would prefer the 52" screen since, well, it's larger and it doesn't cost that much more over the 44". I have just looked at these TV's for a few minutes each, and it seemed to me that the 52" had more problems with a darker picture when looking from above or the side than the 44" had. Is this because of that the 52" is larger, and therefore you need to stand further back for the picture to remain sharp without the darkness?

My living room isn't too big, and the sofa stands only about two and a half to three meters away from where the TV will be put. Therefore, would you recommend the 44" over the 52", or would it not really make a difference?

I can't take a look at these two TV's again before I have to make my decision (don't ask me why, that's the way it is) and buy one so I need your advice.

Any help or comments whatsoever is appreciated.

Anyone?<br />I'd need to know if it's possible that the 52" needs to be watched from a greater distance than the 44" to avoid the darkness?
