Recently exchanged my Tosh for the JVC 32ft1.When the JVC arrived noticed that the plastic cover which is stuck to the screen was not proply fixed in the centre above the JVC badge.So I rang QED up and the set was returned and another JVC was sent,only this has exactly the same problem.I was fairly certain that this was just bad luck and that I had just been sent two duff tvs so I rang QED up and this seemed to bambozzle them to and they are currently looking into the matter.Today when I was in town I checked the JVC tvs out to confirm wether it was a factory fault or maybe a design fault.There seemed to be no problem on the JVC 28ft1 but when I looked at the 32in prologic JVC a gap was evident.<br />The picture on both of the JVC sets Ive had has been as good as can be expected with no geometry or picture blur.This may not sound like a big problem as its not performance related but it could easily pose a problem if liquid or any thing gets in throw this gap which should be sealed.<br />I would be extremly grateful if any owners of JVC models could let me know if they have had similar problems.<br />thanks in advance.

Not had this problem on mine - probably a faulty batch went to QED <img src="frown.gif" border="0">

Customer services at QED told me that 99% of the jvc 32in tvs have this problem concerning this apparant gap according to QED its to do with the weight of the picture tubes.Not sure if thats true but as I said before I have noticed this problem on the high street on other JVC models.This sounds like over looking aspects of basic tv design to me but as the performance is fantastic I will not be changing the set.<br />Beddie sounds like you may be in the 1% if going by what QED said were true.Its been a long month going from tv to tv and Im getting sick of picking these things up as there bloody heavy time to relax and stop stressing out over all these blasted problems.
