basically im just asking if i am missing something in my logic here. the majority of my tv use is for dvds, sometimes i watch tv, but mostly tv ive recorded with my mediacenter pc. i doubt i'll have hd programming any time in the near future (im in college for one thing, and we are only allowed the crappy cable the university provides, no satellite, no nothing but the splendid 40 channels they choose). so bigger is better right? dvds arent high definition, so getting the hdtv would be overkill and pointless in my case?
