Sony Wega TV Problem

I have a 32" Sony Wega TV and have noticed a problem.

When I turn on the TV the red light will flash for longer than a few seconds. I will have sound, but no picture. If I turn off the TV and turn it back on, sometimes the picture turns on, other times it takes a while.

Has anybody else run into this problem with their Sony Wega before? If so, how much was it to fix?

Doing some additional research it sounds like this might be a problem with the high voltage flyback autotransformer and horizontal amplifier. Has anybody else run into this problem?
