Tosh 36ZP48 as centre speaker ?

I am not sure if this has been raised before, but is it possible to use the Tosh 36ZP48 TV speaker(s) as my centre speaker for my 5.1 audio system ?

I currently output via optical cable to my 5.1 amp, and from that take front, rear and sub to my surround speakers. However, I would like to be able to use the output from my centre speaker channel to play through my TV using its speakers. Is this possible ? Can I connect the centre speaker cable from my amp to my TV so the centre channel plays through my TV speakers ?

Thanks,
Kevin.
