Unhappy Help Broken DS60 via Service Menu

Help I have broken my parents TV

Sony KV28DS60, I was trying to disable SVM but when I was near general the tube went dead - no power at all, Scart to a vcr and another TV passed out tv signals from the TV but no service menu.

How do I switch the tube back on?

I haven't dealt directly with that model. But........ if you are into TT codes, then it gets a bit tricky. They can only be found in the service manual, which is now only available online from Sony and take an age to download, if you can even get it.
The fact that you have managed to kill the tube somehow really doesn't sound good. Sorry.
I think due to the complexity of the problem, you may have to bite the bullet and get it to a service agent.
Unless someone else here has exact knowledge of that set, I can't think of a way to help.

TT codes are the initial set up codes for which country the set is in, teletext on/off etc. There are a lot.
Sony's have big service menus.
I'll be thinking of other stff that may help, but I fear the worst, ie, cost.
