Post Sony KP44PS2 Convergance

Hi,

Got my Sony KP44PS2 RPTV today, it is great except for when I play NTSC dvd's the convergance is way out, pal stuff looks fine.
I've tried the video essentials dvd, and the test patterns look very bad.
It doesn't look like the auto convergance function works for ntsc.
Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers,

Graham

Hi Graham
Go into the service mode.
Enter the projection engine.
pressthe button marked " i+ "followed by 0 on the remote.
This transfers the convergence data from pal to ntsc.
Alternatively setup drc100(pal-wide) to be correct, then store data (mute + 0).Then select ALCP (in projector engine) set data to 1 and press mute + 0.
This will then copy registration data to all other DRC modes.Including all screen formats.
Hope this helps.
