Samsung RPTV - the reds are blooming and I can't stop it!!

I've got a Samsung widescreen LCD RPTV and no matter what I do I can't get rid of blooming around the reds.

It looks like the convergence might be wrong, but there's no way to change it. I used to have a Sony 41 inch and could change the alignment on red green and blue. The manual is just useless.

Now i'm just plain confused.
