JVC AV28X4 Scart 3 problem

I've just bought this TV and when trying out scart 3 on my Dreamcast console, it doesn't display any picture. But it works on the first 2 scart inputs. However, my Freeview and DVD works on all three scarts.

The first two scart inputs accept RGB signals. Is scart 3 not working because of a fault or because of the lack of RGB? I remember the dreamcast console working on my 10 year old 15" philips tv which I'm sure doesn't have RGB.

Other than that, this TV is fantastic in every way!

I've just sent back my new TV and had to put back my old 21" JVC TV (10+ years old) in its place and connected up my new equipment and discovered AV1 was RGB compatible so you never know.

Maybe the Dreamcast scart was not wired for both composite and RGB?

On all JVC 100Hz TVs, SCARTS 1 and 2 are RGB compatible. SCART 3 isn't. Most equipment that outputs RGB also outputs composite at the same time. It looks like the Dreamcast doesn't do that and outputs RGB only, which is why you get no picture.
