Widescreen comes in two flavours - flat and curved, the latter being much cheaper.

How fussy are you in this regard?

Also, what are your sound requirements and how many Scarts do you need?

The more information you can provide, the easier for someone to assist!

vsx c501 amp has Scart switching

- so i guess i need three ?
Well the vsx c501 amp has Scart switching does it not.So you connect the DVD ,SKybox (and VCR?) to the vsx c501 and run one RGB scart from the vsx to the Telly.-You only need really one RGB scart on the telly -this may widen your choice but not much with a £200 limit.

Stretch it nearer to £300 and genuine 28 " Flatscreen Phillips and Panny tellys will come in your range.
