Jvc 28p37 DIST Problem

Hi guys, i think im having a problem with my 28p37, i seem to be getting extra jagged edges on most things i watch, from terestial pictures to dvd. i think its a problem with the dist technology. Can someone please help me, can you press the blue button on your tv and set it to 12 picture mode, 12 small pictures should appear on screen. my tv has started showing them as VERY pixelated and any text is a mess, is this the same with anyone elses tv?

i dont think it was like that when i first got it but i could be mistaken.

Can anyone help me?? it looks like my tv is not AAing the picture at all and i want to know if that is normal with DIST tvs or if mines playing up.

the 12 picture thing really is useless..... why use it?
Try turning alll the digital processing off DNR et then slowly turn them on off one at a time until you find out which improve PQ and which dont....

im just using the 12 picture thing to test if the DIST is workign properly or not, im not using it for anything. can someone please check theres and see if the pictures look blocky and pixelated in 12 picture mode.

My 32D40 looks fine on 12 pictures - not blocky at all. (Just can't see what use it is - if it would just scroll through and refresh every so often it might be a bit better)

DIST seems to work quite well as long as the dignals good, you don't over set AND once you get used to a slighty 'harder' picture.

thanks duncy, im just trying to work out if mines broke or not, hopefuly i will get to look at a 28p37 in a shop today so i can see for myself. im not interesteed in using the 12 screen mode for anything, its just the ultimate test for the image scaling technology and so the best to see if its working or not.

can someone please help me? can you just check your 12 picture mode on your jvc dist tv and tell me if the pictures are pixellated/jagged or if the look smooth and perfectly resized.
