Hi All,

I have found this company online - Selltel - They are selling a 14" TV/DVD portable combi for only £59.99! This is the cheapest I have seen these by far.

* 14inch screen size (4:3)
* On screen display for all main functions
* 218 Preset programmes
* Scart Socket
* DVD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW/JPEG/MP3 player

I think the make is Lodos, it does have DTS out and two AV inputs - has anyone seen one before?

They used to trade on ebay as northwalestvs, and as Selltel. A friend bought a widescreen tv and paid extra for extended warranty. Paid direct to a Keith Littlehales. He has been trying to get someone to look at a fault on the Tv since a couple of month before xmas with no luck. He tried writing to the address he sent payment to, but this was returned "gone away". Basically that is the customer care you can expect.

If you have had problems you can contact either Director
Keith Littlehales or Esther Harvey at their Selltel Ltd shop in Chester, or for just £1 you can legally obtain their home address from www.companieshouse.co.uk

An all round cons artist it would seem (how many names do you need if you are legit) I would steer well clear if I was you.

On top of that, answering the question in the title, I would not expect much of a combi at this low price.
It should be functional but won't exhibit staggering performance.
Combis are usually very hard to repair and at 60 quid it has to be treated as a disposable or throwaway item.

The picture you show is the same as my daughters combi set, which is made by Bush.

If the one you are looking at is a rebadged Bush I think you would be getting a pretty good deal.

My daughters set has a very good clear picture, bright colours, the sound is ok, not brilliant, but is is in stereo when playing dvd's

For information my name is Keith Sean littlehales, having two christian names does not make me a con artist. I am registaired as Keith with companies house and my bank because that is my first name whilst I am known by my second name which is Sean and thats why it was shown on Ebay. The fact that the 3 shops I had failed and ended up closing also does not make me a con artist as you put it. Get your facts right before you make your claims.

It isn't a "rebadged Bush"...they are made in Turkey and sold under many different brand names...Bush just happens to be one of them.
Bush do not manufacture their own products.

Hi there, ive had one of the same units you are talking about using a bush badge, the pictute is great, dvd works perfectly and after 2 years no faults, £60 is a great deal,

By the look of it your shops closed without any effort to contact the people who had purchased extended warranties. Why not...you must have had their addresses? It also looks as if you were taking money for these warranties right up until the moment the shops closed.

Just tried the link in first post and it won't work. £60 + £20p&p = £80. Tesco and Asda are selling similar cheaper plus you get all the benefits of returning / replacing easily if faulty. For this kind of cash you can't expect 'Rolls Royce' kit and I would certainly treat it as a disposable item should it go t*ts-up after the warranty expires.
