need help with dcam mode on hitachi

I went into my dcam mode on my hitach and i followed the steps from this forum: http://www.hdtvoice.com/voice/showthread.php?t=3736 (please let me know if posting this link is not allowed) and now i cannot get my magic focus button to work it says static mode when i press it. the last steps in that forum do not work with my tv... i dont have the pip ch button mine is just pip and then i have a pip mode button. just wondering if anyone has any idea how to get it to work again. thanks
