What's better - S Video or RGB?

Hi guys

I have currently output my Panasonic DVD player (not sure of the model) into my Toshiba 36ZP48P via a scart lead - setting the output of the DVD player and the AV3 input of the TV to S-Video.

The picture quality seems good, but would it be better if I set the DVD to RGB output using the SCART lead?

I am going to get a composite lead soon, as I have set my PS2 to composite output and the quality is superb.

Apologies for the dafteness of my request!

EDIT - The PS2 is component not composite!

Rough order of quality

-Composite

-S-video

-RGsB/component (component is the best for DVD as its the system used for encoding the discs )

-RGBS (although let down by the rather naff scart connection method)

-RGBHV

In theroey RGB is better than svideo. How ever some display devices handle the svideo signal better than a straight RGB feed and some times will give a better picture. Leads and the quality of the dvd player that out puts the signal will also be a factor.
Best thing to do is test it your self. Watch a scene of your favorute movie for 60 second in svideo, then the same in RGB , see which one you preffer
