Has anyone's JL delivery been in an "open" box?

Hi Guys,

Tele has just turned up and JL guys did a great job of getting up three flights of stairs. Can't get it out of the box until a mate comes round but I am a bit concerned that the box was "open" ie the toshiba tape on top had already been broken and the box had clearly been opened. (did I just repeat myself!)

Anyone else find this with their JL delivery?
Off to build the stand!

Cheers,

Ig

Check it carefully ! Someone has already reported receiving a scratched Viera screen "by accident". That's one thing that puts me off shopping at Argos - their "no quibble" refund policy - when I buy something new, I want it to be new, not someone else's cast-offs.

Rant over

SOz to go OT but on the point about Argos, I used to work for a supplier for Argos (framed mirrors) and they used to return all thier cast offs back to us and we'd have to fully refund them whatever state they were in.

Do JL do online or is it still store only?

On the odd occasion that I buy stuff from Argos, I always make a point of opening it and inspecting the contents before I drive home. I've had so many things in the past that have been "pre-used" or have bits missing.
