Sony KD 32DX200U without Stand?

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of buying a Sony KD 32DX200U IDTV.
Have seen a demo in a shop and was impressed by it. Have also read other comments on the Forum about the TV and none have put me off. It seems all of the brands have issues to some extent.

Anyway what I want to know is if I get this TV I do not want to use the TV stand that comes with this TV.
This is because I have a proper AV glass stand. It can handle 110KG on the top level and currently holds my exisiting 32" TV.
Does the TV have a flat bottom to it. It other words will it sit happily on a smooth glass surface.
The reason I raise this question is that a review of the TV suggested it had "sharp" undersides.
Basic question I guess but I don't want to find that you have to use the stand provided for some crazy reason.
Any other comments about the TV would be appreciated.

Thanks
