id like to get this from john lewis but they said they will have to try and order it in special, and they couldnt tell me a price yet. i dont need dolby-d but i would really like a 5yr warranty, any ideas? i thought someone said comet did these at £699, maybe they'll cut a deal for the warranty.

Currys have the 36zp46 available to order again. The 5yr warranty is £250, but was offered to me for £200 when I refused it at full price, expressing an interest if a lower price could be offered. Good luck, cant wait for mine to arrive

Comet Orpington have the 32ZP46 (nicam) on display at £699.

Don't know how much the warranty is.

I'm thinking now of the 32ZP48 (dolby surround) model at £775, as I have come to the reluctant conclusion, that with the viewing distance being 6-12 foot in my front room, anything bigger is overkill, (goodbye sagem , rd50, etc etc )

If I can convince myself to spend a bit (lot) more I'd have the lcd tosh 32wl48 at £1,270
