Can anyone help me please? This TV has just been looked at by an engineer - apparently needs a new main digital board (big silver box centrally located at inside at the bottom). Voltage going to it is good but not out of it. Being quoted £200 for the board itself just wondering if it might be able to be fixed.
The TV powers up but the screen remains black with no graphic symbols. There is no flashing code from the led at the front - it remains constant green. It will not go to standby from the remote even though the led turns red with a press on the remote. The TV did actually come on this morning which leads me to believe it's nothing major but I have been wrong once before!

Any Ideas?
