Help - Thomson 32wh403s - Any Good? Better Alternatives?

Dear All,

My folks Thomson TV 32WX411S has been written off by Domestic and General. Under the new for old policy they have offered a replacement set - Thomson 32WH403S. I am not happy with this in any case because it only has 2 scarts whereby the old TV had 3. I tried to get some sense regarding the value they are attaching to the TV. They said the national retail figure was £599 but if I wanted a voucher it would have to be with Comet and its value would be £458. So presumably I could look for an alternative TV that was 100hz, 3 scarts for circa £599 that was better than the Thomson they have offered.

Can anyone recommend alternatives to the Thomson that would be a better TV within the parameters I have described above?

Thanks

Justin
