JVC HiDef TV... Jvc HV28P37S (or alternative!)

is this the 28" version of the tv reviewed here ?

looks a good set, as most of my watching is from:

1. MiniDV/DVCAM source
2. Panasonic S75 DVD Player (Component out / NTSC Progscan)
3. Modded XBOX (so comp and ntsc/pal progscan with the right cable?)

is this the right tv for me? its about as much money as i can spend. atm we have an NTL box in our lounge, and no analogue aerial at all (this is for my bedroom in a shared house, would probably install an aerial for freeview i guess, or maybe a PDTV card for PC with output to the tv via SVID) so its mainly for playback of dvds, games and downloaded tv eps (either PDTV/HDTV sourced SD xvid, or full HiDef rips) as i hate waiting a year+ for the shows i like. anyone got one and got praise/criticism... or another choice?

only place i've really seen this advertised is empire which is annoying. i've read the retailers thread so i know i can't really say much, but there was a large amount of money that disappeared off a credit card that was only ever used at Empire, and the people convicted of it were based in a very nearby area. its all in the past, and we recovered the money, but it puts you off using their services again, even tho i'm sure it was a one off. (if i need to remove any of this i will, but its just my justification for being "edgy" of them)

They are indeed the same set apart from the size.

It's currently available at £399 in Allders - I doubt you'll have any credit card problems there.

See:

cheers for the link, will hunt around and try find some prices.. didn't really want to go over £300 originally, so going to have to scrape some more cash i think probably worth it due to the quality of the pic from a hd/dvd source it seems :D
