So what's your PD30 like with freeview?

Hello peeps,

Would appreciate any feedback regarding picture quality on a Panny TX32PD30 with a freeview box. Mine is NOT GOOD. Am using a Thomson DT12300 with a good scart lead and i can only describe the picture quality as poor. I'll try to explain what it's like:

Skin textures are bad, very little shading, like the resouloution has dropped.

When a scene fades out, pixellation is present, also when watching fast moving scenes.

Smearing & grain is present on all channels

I'm hoping the STB is to blame here as the Panny is amazing when viewing DVD's thru components.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Stuey

Sounds like the STB to me.

Why not try it with the Acuity mode turned off?
