was your repair agent professional?

Hi
I work for a TV/VCR/DVD repair company in Leeds and I would like to know your experiences.
Our call out charges start at £25(free if you bought from our main agent), the bigger the TV the more the call out.
We can usually call the next day, we work 6 days per week and give a loan CTV if required(these can be in short suply!

I was just wondering whether to get my old Philips 100Hz 32inch w/s repaired or just sell it as faulty on Ebay which is what many seem to do. It's Dead by the way apart from flashing LED.

I have a new TV so really just need the space.

Hi
You dont say how old your old TV is, if you take it into a repair center yourself you should be able to get a free estimate. It could cost anywhere betweem £70-£250

It's 10 years old, so probably not worth the expense.

If it costs £100 to repair and I sell it for £120, it's not a great profit. Cost me £1,400 when new, it was top of range set with PIP 2 tuners etc.
