Question Panasonic Televisions

Hello,

I've just bought a Panasonic TX28PS5C widescreen television and I can't find any reviews of it.

Is this model basically the same as the Panasonic TX28PM1?

Thanks,
David.

If my memory serves right, it's just the same set with surround sound built in. I'd assume that it's got the extra sound connections (Optical and/or Digital Coxial), since the amplifier's Dolby Digital 5.1 compatible.

I think this one was from the previous range (the PM1 being newer), the tube's seem identical, except the older style stand is a lot more sturdy!

Thanks!

That's what I was hoping - the same tv with better sound.

David.
