Geomagnetic correction Panasonic TX32DTX40

I bought this Panasonic TV last week and am generally happy with it. However, staining at bottom of picture can only be removed by setting geomagnetic correction to at least minus 8. This gives a picture which tilts visibly to the north-east. I can access the service menu but don't know what correction to apply; or is it a job for a service engineer? Any assistance would be appreciated
