Daewoo Tv, Volume problems

Hi, I am having problems with a Daewoo tv.

I don't have a model number but its: at least 7 years old (Probably a bit more!), 20 or 19inch, black in colour.


When you turn it on, the volume is very high (off the limit of the OSD), you have to scroll all the way down through various serieses of characters with 10 numbers eg.(?/!) before going down through the normal volume range, from 60-1. If you have this problem you'll know what i mean.

Much help appreciated. Also, it would be nice to get a replacement remote control (shall i just go for a OneFor All remote? as i have lost the normal one)
