Hantarex CT34

Hi All,

I've just been offered a almost new Hantarex CT34 video monitor for £100 (no it isn't stolen), but I can't find much info via the web, specifically if it will take component input. Anyone got any experience of these or advice to give.

Many Many Thanks in advance.

Is this any good? Suggests it supports YUV.

Thanks alot, that's what I'd found but didn't properly inderstand it. Don't know much about these things, is there a cable to connect component vid to a SVGA plug?. I can't find one but I seem to remember that a home cinema buff mate of mine uses one to connect his DVD player to his projector. I'd ask him if he wasn't away on holiday.

From looking at the PDF, it seems that the YUV connection is on the 9pin D connector. Not sure where you'd get a lead for that - though possibly from Hantarex themselves.

Poking around the Hantarex website shows a number of monitors that start CT, not all of them are YUV enabled. I would recommend you confirm the model number to check it is one that supports YUV.

For instance, this one doesn't.

Thanks, from what I can make out, the guy who I'm buying from (friend of a friend) has a cable which came with the screen which connects component to the 9 pin connector. I know it definately has RGB scart so for the £100 I'm paying it'll be a great improvement over my knackered Fergusson 28" either way.
